Pepsi on battery terminals??

Doesn't it always happen when you are on your way to some place and you are already running late.  Your car starts stalling your mom pulls over and you take a look under the hood to find the cables are caked with battery acid. If you happened to pull over at a gas station you may be able to buy a few items to get you where you need to go.  Go into the gas station and buy a can of Pepsi and a toothbrush and scrub off all the battery acid.

Yesterday we were going to Culver's when our car started stalling and I remembered from co-op that my teacher said that if you pour Pepsi on your battery it cleans it off. So I told my mom and we stopped by a gas station and got what we needed and we poured some on and it cleaned it right off! But it won't fix it for good you should take off the bolts and take off the cables. If you have a battery cleaner tool take it and clean the cables and the connectors. After that get a can of battery cleaner and spray the connectors and let stand for a few minuets. Then rinse with some water and wipe off the battery. After that buy a pack of terminal protectors and put them on the connectors. Then put everything back together and be sure that the bolts are tight.  If it still stalls then get a can of terminal protectant, it is sold in most car shops.
